Month long safe storage in CO next May/June?

Glenlivet and I have traveled to the west coast a few times now, but he’ll be eight for the next rally and the heat and hummugity of the Midwest and Great Plains are hard on the old dog. One possible option to ensure his comfort would be to trailer our sidecar rig out west, explore the backcountry in our Xterra while leaving the rig and trailer somewhere secure, returning to swap the Xterra for the sidecar then scooting up to the rally and back on three wheels before trailering home.

Can anyone in an arc from Paonia to Montrose to Durango help identify some storage options?
