Mirrors for 04 R1150RT

Good afternoon MOA.

I'm looking for a set of OEM mirrors in A+ condition for an 04 R1150RT, color code 363, Biarritz Blue.

Also, if anyone has any thoughts about the aftermarket ones on Ebay, I'd be interested to hear them. They look OK but they don't give you any details about the color code. I know that BMW had a lot of different blues for the 1100 and 1150 RTs.

Thanks
Chris

Personally... I'd be leery of after-market substitutes from Guangzhou China (as the ad shows), or anywhere else; they may be fine or they may be lightweight đź’©

I agree with Paul. Personally I wouldn’t waste my money on Chinese made replacement mirrors. I’d recommend you check out Beemer Boneyard. You may find the mirrors that you’re looking for. Any reputable paint and body shop could match the paint using the paint code from the bike and spray them for you. That’s my .02 cents worth.

My $0.02 from a few years ago: I bought on eBay a new base plate (the part with the three spring clips that fasten onto the knobs on the fairing) and rebuilt my right side mirror. I'm pretty sure the source was China. It was good quality and has been working fine for over 20000 miles.

YMMV. This opinion is worth exactly what you are paying for it.
