K Kluster has me Konfused??

I saw , in the FleaMarket. a request for an insterment cluster fitting a 93 K75S, I have one from a 90 K75RT. Both bikes are nonABS. I checked several catalogs and it appeared that they would interchange. All K bikes from 4/85 to 7/93. We encountered the classic mismatch. My cluster has round pins and his connector has square holes. Has anyone have any idea what cluster I have?. I have rerun the research again and still have no answer.

Strange. All the ones I've seen have rectangle-ish pins, and the pods should interchange. My only guess is maybe the round pins are a KPH pod?

BMW made a change (don't remember year) for the piece when they got hammered for the plastic plug failing when the screw in the round hole version pulled out of the plastic and connections broken. So they moved to the square setup where the allen bolt can't pull out.
