Howdy!
I have had a rattle noise in the exhaust system for many moons! So I checked the bolts to the head and other fasteners... All looked tight.

Removed the exhaust system and noticed that one of the exhaust pipes was missing... #4 was laying under the bike while the other 3 looked like some K75 exhaust system. Evidently there was a crack and when dropping the system down the last pipe decided to break all the way.

questions. Can these things be welded?
is it better to buy used or aftermarket pipe?

Thanks

You are not far from Burtonsville, where the world's best welder has his shop. His name is Mark Bailey, the shop name is Metal Specialties, and he has a K head to jig them properly.

exhaustive search

thanks for the note! I have found a different pipe. Should be here by friday.

take care.
