Ignition Testing with GS911?

My bike runs rough and starts hard. Will my GS911 (with bike stationary and in neutral) help me to diagnose any IGNITION issues that may be present (e.g., bad plugs, misfires, coil issues, bad wires)? If so, what should I look for? I am unclear as to understanding how many of the engine parameters being measured by the GS911 are used to diagnose performance. Thanks!
