That's U.S. $$.

I agree - quite high, even for a new release. Think I'll wait a few months, then order it up for an estimated third of that price.

Well, if we were to be "creative", I'm thinking $5US is reasonable... so, should I purchase the DVD for the current price, then mail to the next person who pays me $35, that would cover "shipping and handling" costs to mail to next person.... once we do that a few times, the "price" of the DVD will be reasonable....

Of course, copying the DVD would not be cool... not to mention being illegal.

The bottom line being if the DVD turns out to be one you WANT, go ahead and buy for your collection.

So, is this doable or would we be crossing the line?

Personaly $40 is way to much for a modern movie and practically any movie. I'm sure it will be available soon much cheaper once distro in the US has happened.

Netflix may have it.

Put it in the back of an Aerostitch catalog and see what kind of money they ask for it.

I think I'll put the $38 in my riding fund; that's a good 600+ miles of fun!
