Probably the offset foot pegs.

I have ridden /2s for over 50 years. I never really noticed the offset foot pegs. Given the offset cylinders, they make sense. Not only are they not a big deal, they are no deal at all for me as a rider.

Here are the foot pegs on a modern GS. Not offset even though the cylinders still are offset. The left leg could move more forward with an offset footpeg.
