Helping a friend with his 2010 R1200GS

Hi,

I am trying to help a colleague with his 2010 R1200GS. He is looking for a Givi top case for it. I have attached photos of the Givi rack on his bike. Can someone identify the rack type and what top case he would need? I don’t know my boxers or Givi luggage as I ride a 1985 K100RS.

Thank you,
Tom

Check the Givi website to see if you can find a match. The top plate info there should identify a family of cases that work with a particular plate.

Best,
DeVern

I have also pointed him in that direction, including their FB page. I also told him to email Givi with photos of his mounting plate. This is a great forum for info so I'm swinging for the fences to help him out.

Cheers,
Tom

Looks like a standard Givi mount. I think any Givi will mount to it. The latch and pins are constant, but the plates they attach to can vary depending on application.

A friend had a Givi Maxia 50 on a plate like that.
