Helmet recommendation?

I recently bought a NeoTec and just completed a 5 day trip to OH and back to NC. I went through rain, more rain and even more rain after that. The only "leakage" I had was from the top vent while on the highway (I77) at 65MPH. Other than that, did not have a single drop enter my field of view when I had the face shield latched closed. Once I closed then vent, dry as can be. This is my first Shoei and will not be the last. I debated between the C3 Pro and the NeoTec... only got the Neo due to cost factors, but so far this helmet has been everything I could have asked of it.
That's my 2 cents

Allow me to change direction, somewhat. By the way, I have a Neotec that I purchased in Billings. Love it! My question is this: Will it fit in the overhead of a 757 and an MD-80? I'm riding the GS out to Vegas and flying home. Planning my mid-Winter ride. Gotta bring the Shoei back 'cause there's another Beemer in the garage.

My Shoei RF700, RF900 and Schuberth C2 have fit. Sometimes you need to try different angles. Most of my flights have been in a B737, B767, A320, A330, but I'm sure I've been in a B757 at least once. And in the smaller commuter aircraft I have been in, the helmet just sat between my feet in its helmet bag.

Speaking as somebody with a huge melon it has been really hard to find a helmet that fits AND is somewhat quiet. I finally broke down and ordered a C3 Pro, size XXXL, and found the helmet of my dreams. The quality and fit are excellent and the noise isolation is better than any of the helmets I have tried. I have a Shoei GT-Air XXL, that is also a great helmet but it never really "broke-in" to my head, I think it's because the padding on the big sizes is quite thin - so there is little chance for the pads to soften/conform.

I found the Aria Defender fit my head but the noise level was outrageous.

Much appreciated! I suppose, push come to shove, I could exercise my right of malicious compliance and just wear it!

Just to close the loop: Had a terrific ride to Vegas; flew home on Delta. No problems, whatsoever, with the brain bucket.

Shoei neotec is the only helmet I have ever owned that I can actually FEEL air passing over my head in hot weather. I ride year round in SoFla and it stays dry and cooler than anything else

My C3 also has noticeable air movement (some folks forget to set the inner liner patch from winter, blocking air, to summer, allowing flow).

It is easy to identify, just riding at normal speeds with the visor down but not closed allows sufficient air through the visor opening that you don't get much airflow through the top vent but then if you "snap" the visor closed you should feel a noticeable amount of airflow over your scalp.
