Hello to the members of the BMW MOA Forum. I have recently joined the BMW MOA although I have been a BMW rider for seven years and I am now on my third BMW (K1600GT, F650GS and currently a 2004 R1200CL). I look forward to sharing the experiences of riding BMW with the members of this group.

Welcome gusrider! I don't think I have ever seen a CL in the wild...interesting looking bike...hope to see one in person some day. Thanks for posting the pic

Bonjour gus, the proud BMW owner in Quebec!

Glad to hear you've found some spare change to finally join the MOA. Hope you're also now in possession of much more spare time to enjoy your nice variety of BMWs. I'd suggest you keep an eye out for a workable vintage Airhead next (see the MOA Marketplace perhaps). In case it's a harsh winter, it'll give you a "Simple By Design" project to work on in your heated garage!

Hope your passport is up to date for your upcoming ride to Tennessee next June! We'll be camping and pitching in somewhere in Lebanon, I'm certain. The Rally Chairs have our numbers in their Contacts lists... :ha

Welcome gusrider! If you haven't found it yet, check out chromeheads.org for a great source of all things R1200C/CLC related.

Thank you bobs98 for the info. I have found that due to the limited production run of the CLC, there are not many resources or information on line. I will definitely check out the chromeheads site.

Thank you for the welcome. After riding the K1600 for several years, it was definitely a big difference going to this cruiser style.
