Hello from North Charleston SC

Hello all! Nice to meet yall! My name is Tristan. I live in North Charleston, in the Park circle neighborhood with my wife and two dogs. I moved to SC 2005 from Indiana. I’ve been mechanic for about 15 years now. I worked at a Toyota dealer for quite a few years now and I worked for Dominion Energy as a fleet mechanic. These are my first two BMWs. The 1981 R100RS is a project for me to work on. While I work on that, I’ll ride the 2000 R1100RS to work. I grew up working on Toyota LandCruisers and it seems like the BMW MOA community is very similar. Looking forward to meeting yall!image.jpg

Hola Tristan, now comfortably ensconced in S.Car!

Nice pair of Beemers you’re getting familiar with! Good luck wrenching on both of ‘em - check out MOA members near U listed in the eAnonymous Book for folks to connect with [look over the coded references]... :brow

We’ve got to go inspect the clearances on Karen’s RT, now that she’s replaced the old/soggy floats in her carbs. She wants to ride it to the MOA Rally in nearby Lebanon, Tenn next month. Unlike last year’s rally, we’re only ~110 miles south. Put the national BMW rally on your list of places to visit when you can find the time... :thumb
