Good review for Dennis Kirk

I try to buy as much of my stuff as I can from a local independant dealer near me, but after 4 weeks of back ordered tire, I had to go the 'internet' route.

Ordered a tire from Dennis Kirk on Wednesday night, it arrived today, Friday, in the morning.

The price was a little cheaper than my local guy too, but that wasn't the reason I went with Kirk, it was availability. I will go 10% higher/ more with a local guy, because thats just how I am, but he couldnt get the tire, and he wasn't mad that I went internet on him.

Anyway, support your local guys first, but it was nice to have Kirk offer such good service!

That's good news about Dennis Kirk. I go back with them since before the internet, when it was a paper catalog and an 800 number.

I always ordered tires for my cruisers at Motorcycle Superstore. Great prices and super-quick shipping. I, too, always try to support the brick-and-mortar stores, and give them the first opportunity to earn my business. But when the price difference breaks the $100 mark, I have to think of my wallet first.

Fortunately my BMW dealer's tire prices are extremely competitive with the online sources.
