Fuel line connector

Well pulled in from a short lunch ride, and there it was ,..That smells like gas. Sure enough gas renning down the engine. Bit by the dreaded quick connect. Pulled the right side plastic got a brass inline splice , then rain .At least I was in town.Just returned from 1350mi trip so it could be alot worse . I just had the plastic off 2 weeks ago for P.M. no sighn of leak...Be careful out there... replace them when you get the first chance...I don't know why they used crap like that any way..... O.K. I've vented
