A friend and I rode yesterday, looking for some fall foliage to shoot... in the Santa Cruz mountains... in near 90 degree heat. We didn't find any. This part of California is still one of two colors: green or sun burnt brown. We came back the coast highway where I got a shot of the brown hills with a lighthouse in the foreground

Went looking for colorful foliage with some friends, again, today. It's still pretty much green here in the SF Bay Area save for those few tress that went from green to bare. Not cold enough, yet. Today was in the 70s and it is supposed to be 80is this weekend.

I did find this
