Engine Hiccup

Seeing a little hiccup / hesitation in my 06 G S at the top of the power band in 5th and 6th.. Thought it was bad gas.. But it's hanging around now after a couple of new tanks..

Really only at higher speeds / high revs.. When I really get on the throttlehard, The bike hiccups a bit and gives up for a second before really engaging and powering out..

haven't noticed it in the lower gears..

any ideas?

only 7k on the bike

didn't see this until my 6k service or thereabouts -
