Selected shots from a ride up to Edwards Ferry Md. And the C&O canal. (taken with my Nikon D80) I'm pretty pleased with them as a whole, spent the better part of on hour wondering around shooting and composing, playing with light and camera settings....
This one came out a little fuzzy...
And this ÔÇ£thingÔÇØ mired in the mud along the banks, looks old and ornery, I didnÔÇÖt go too near it, I donÔÇÖt think it was very happy
At Whites Ferry just up river where I crossed on the last still running ferry across the Potomac I saw this machine.

And finally I decided not eat here! If they have to have a sign like this, there must be a reason!
