Des Moines Opera Performances During BMW MOA Rally

Well, I thought at least a couple of Rally attendees might like to know that the Des Moines Metro Opera has four performances during the period of time the rally is underway. There will be two performances of "Die Fledermaus," one of an opera unknown to me called "Flight," and a performance of "Rusalka." There seem to be pre-performance dining events associated with each performance.

You are a quick 20 mile ride to the opera in Indianola. Go out the Main gate hang a right go to University Ave. East on University to Hwy 65 South. Continue South to on 5/65 by-pass to Indianola exit. South 10 mile to Indianola , home of the DM Metro Opera.
