Crane Rally June 20-22

IBA #44567
Hey all; Just a reminder that the Crane Rally sponsored by the Springfield BMW Roadriders is coming up fast! This marks the 24th year that we've held the rally in Crane.
This is a very relaxed rally in a large beautifully shaded park with lots of trees, fresh cut lawn to camp on & a spring fed creek! The people of Crane never cease to amaze me with their hospitality and friendliness. It's almost a throwback in time into "smalltown America"! The Rally itself is very laid back with the emphasis on relaxing.

We now have Catering Creations on board to serve dinner Friday night. BBQ pulled pork, cold slaw and a cookie, for a modest price.

The Saturday Dual-Sport ride will depart around 8:30 AM and small groups for a Road-Ride should depart around 9:30 AM both heading to Bentonville BMW through the Ozark "twisties" for a free lunch.

We have a local French Restaurant the Avairy Cafe coming down to serve authentic "Breakfast Crepes" Saturday morning, followed by a leisurely ride through some of the best roads in the Ozarks to Bentonville BMW in NW Arkansas who always serve up some great brats & burgers at lunchtime! Also will have maps of some great local "twisty" rides throughout the area if you prefer to go it alone. The Avairy will again delight us Saturday eveing with another authentic French dinner before the award ceremonies.

As always, camping is free for all rally participants. On-site bathrooms and showers. Bike judging and prizes will be awarded. This is one of the most relaxing and stress-free rallies you can attend all year. We promise to work hard to make our rally
Entry fee of only $20 sure seems like a bargain.

Then after dinner & our awards ceremony, it's off to downtown Crane, MO for the yearly old-time ice cream social, and a great time mingling with the local town-folk, bluegrass music, and always welcome ice-cream. This year we have been asked to ride our bikes down and park them in the middle of main street so the residents can get a view- What? we don't have to walk back up the hill to the park? you bet!

Sorry you won't be able to make it too!

I'm hoping the Monsoons stop before then!
