Anyone thinking about a visit during the National?
Jason

We're going after the rally.
We went in 1996 on our way to the National at Morganton NC.

I'll hit it again. I visited before the sinkhole as an extension of a nice bourbon county distillery visits.

When I was there last time, in like 2005?, the factory was closed, which was a drag. My tour this time is organized around transportation museums, so this is on my list on the way to Ohio from TN after the rally.

I don't drink anymore, but Kentucky is a place where they still have dry counties. Plan accordingly.

I don't think you can factory tour right now, as they are converting over to the new model year. Lots of construction/machinery changes in plant.

We were also disappointed in 1966 there was no factory tour because of retooling.
Factory tours stopped in Feb 2024. I need to do more digging to see if tours have started back up.
AI gives me conflicting info. Maybe I'll try that old tool called a phone :)
