Calsci Windscreen Question

Would like feedback from anyone that's purchased a Calsci replacement windscreen for an R1150RT/R1100RT. What size did you purchase and what is your height and seat setting. Also, if you've got experience with another Mfg'r; i.e. AeroFlow or Cee Bailey's I'd like an honest comparison with the Calsci. I'm currently experiencing significant wind-buffeting and noise around my head that I'd like to reduce/eliminate if possible. Thanks.

No Calsci experience, but I have a Cee Bailey with Euro-cut and like it a lot. Creates quite a dead area with little buffeting.

I have a Calsci on my '07 R1200RT and like it a lot. The stock was OK, but the Calsci provides better protection with less buffeting when I need it, yet plenty of fresh air when I lower it. Even in the lower position the air flows more smoothly - I think it is because of the vent they have in the lower part of the windshield.

I don't remember what size I got, but the guy who answered the phone was very helpful in making the decision. I would do it again with no hesitation.

Dito that ! 6 ft tall bought a euro cut 3.5 in taller no buffing. I like to look over the shield use it a little over half way up with seat in middle position. Love it.:groovy

I still like mine. I'm 6' even and have the seat in the high position. Mostly I look over the top of the shield and mostly keep it in the low position. At speed in the rain, raising it can help a lot & can create a quiet bubble, which I might use more as the wx gets colder. I think Mark knows his aerodynamics and his designs work.

Off the bike, I like the way both the Cee Bailey Euro cut screens and the stock screens look. I think the Calsci has looks that kinda say "Luftmeister," which one might consider a bit stodgy. That being said, I think the Aeroflow screens are really ugly but I wouldn't let a little bit of ugly get in the way of installing something that I thought worked.

The online info on the Calsci site is helpful and worked for sizing, shipping was quick, finish good, and installation on the R1100RT (1150 would be no different) a breeze. Mark publishes a good cleaning solution recipe too.

I think it's a really good value.
