You may have seen the article floating around the internet from Indiannapolis where a police officer responding to a call for assistance, with lights and siren going, crashed into three motorcycles stopped at a traffic light, killing one and severely injuring two. One biker escaped injury as his bike was not hit. The police initially indicated the bikers were at fault, because they did not try to move out of the lane they were stopped in. However, today it was discovered that the offending officers blood alcohol level was 0.19 - more than twice the legal limit in Indiana. Just hate to see this kind of stuff, and my heart goes out to the families of the dead and injured, and to their friend who survived.
