Bike Parking at Rally?

Asking to clarify a point...it has been stated that bikes need to be parked on pavement (not on the grass!). Looking at the campus map (http://www.ucwv.edu/eagle/admissions/visitUC.cfm?sec=campusmap), I'm curious if that applies to just "roadways", or to other pavement as well (walkways between buildings, or that road headed out to Blackwell Field)?

U of C parking

U of C parking is restricted to PARKING LOTS ONLY, not sidewalks!

The road leading to the athletic fields runs through a residential neighborhood. The home owners might not like you parking on their street parking spaces when you can park on the campus paved parking lots.
