The size battery needed is dictated by the current needed to start the bike which may be 50 times that needed to power a radio. And it is dictated by whether the bike is one that starts instantly or is one that needs to be cranked a bit before it starts. And of course, whether it is always 70 or 80 degrees when you start it or whether sometimes it might be 40 degrees or colder when you need it to start.
I would suggest just going with the same size battery BMW used when they shipped the bike from the factory.
