Yes, I know this is a BMW bike forum...but...

I got to play light to light with one of these today while goofing off near Lake Travis. The driver was kind to me on the R12S and didn't shame me too bad as we maintained the posted limit for a few lights at the front of the grid

Gotta say, pictures just do not exhibit the wow factor of this car. 177K plus is a bit much for a commuter...but wow! The amount of carbon fiber alone was pretty stunning. And the tone from the engine was pretty sweet as well. A 30 something was piloting it.

Know the parent company is in dirty diesel currently, but did I say wow?

Looks good, but it's not a BMW. Deal breaker for me :)

Saw orange-silver open-top one the other day, you're right, pictures don't do it justice. BMW, Audi, Porsche, it's all the same eurotrash :laugh
