2022 R1250RT Newbie Question

Good day All. I plan to purchase my 2022 R1250RT in a couple months and travel for my first motorcycle trip of any significant distance to the BMW MOA rally in Springfield Missouri next June. I have a Schuberth C4 helmet and will soon be purchasing one of the SC1 communications systems for it. My question to all of you more knowledgeable about this, is will the SC1 system and the R120RT’s navigation system link up so that I will get vocal turn by turn directions?

The RT uses Bluetooth for connectivity between your smart phone and is then also paired with your headset. My phone provides my music as I ride directly to my helmet via bluetooth. My phone is also connected to the TFT via bluetooth. The GPS sends alerts and routing information from the phone, through the system, to your headset. I expect no issues and you shouldn't either - - as long as your phone is as smart as it should be. ;)

I had a Schuberth and integrated comm system. Schuberth helmets are well made and quiet. But the Schuberth integrated comm system that I had was not current technology. It was based on a Sena system that was obsolete compared to current offerings directly from Sena or Cardo.

It will connect to the bike without issues.

I moved on to a different helmet and piggyback mesh comm system from Cardo.

I'd wait on the new Schuberth. The C5 is coming out, should be in the states by May, June the latest. It will have Sena 50s with Mesh. "The new C5 is prepared for the SC2 Bluetooth communication system. This system is based on the SENA 50S, which means the C5 has the MESH 2.0 intercom system. This MESH system allows you to connect with max. 24 riders in a group mesh intercom conversation, and with an unlimited amount of riders in an open mesh intercom conversation!" https://www.schuberth.com/en/products/motorbikes/communication-systems.html
