2004 R1150GS Question

Are all 2004 models dual plugged? Is the 2004 GS with ABS also linked and power assisted or is it like the 2002 GS?

In the USofA the '04 is the dual plug head. No so in Europe. I believe if you get ABS you get linked brakes with the '04 model. The "sport" model doesn't have the ABS and has the dual plug heads. I don't think you'll find and unlinked ABS '03. They went pretty fast with the atractive financing.

The reason I've asked is because I've seen the linked or semi-linked power assisted brakes described for all models except the GS. So I thought, perhaps, they left the linking and power assist off of the GS because of it's unusual dual purpose. But maybe that's why the sport was added to the line-up. Thanks.

'03 and newer GSA's have the semi-linked power brakes. The GS Sport has old-fashioned unassisted brakes and no ABS. It has slightly different tranny gearing too.

All '04 oilheads are dual-sparkers.
