My buddy needed to do the clutch on his 2004 K1200GT. In and of itself was an ugly amount of work.
After all was said and done, we tried testing the bike before the Tupperware went back on.
Noticed right away the fans came on.
Zero throttle response, stumble and die if you turned the throttle.
GS911 had so many codes but both TPS and over-temp came up.
Bad grounds??? Nope, voltage drop from the bat negative was 0.01VDC
Got into it but good, nothing struck me.
For someplace else to go, I tried the side-stand switch. The wiring diagram shows that stand retracted, continuity between the red and brown wires.
Nope, makes a connection and then looses it and resistance is in the K-Ohm range.
Extended, red and white show continuity and it does.
Am I chasing a ghost?
