1984 RS Brake Hoses

I've had a few posts on here about my 1984 R100RS auction bike. I put o ring and diaphragm kits in the carbs and it fired right up this morning, with the new starter from EME.
Today's item is the front brake hoses. After a ten year hibernation they don't flow the brake fluid. What's the preferred choice, Galfer, Speigler, or stock? I've used Speigler in the past on 1150RT's. I've cleaned and put new seals in the calipers and a new front master cylinder.
Compared to my 1150's and 1200's, this is so much less cluttered.

Stock, no way. Why reassemble with rubber that will rot later...
I also prefer Speigler, have used them on a few bikes.
I don't know if they still have an occasional issue, but back in the "Marty's" (old dealer in Carson CA) days, Galfer hoses sometimes had to be returned/exchanged.

I was hoping for more love for the Galfers,
they're cheaper. :)
I forgot to mention, I'll probably want higher bars later, any recommendation on which hose set? K75 seems to be a popular retrofit.

Call Spiegler and tell them what you want to do and how high you want to raise the bars. They’ll custom make the length you need, with correct fittings, tho I’m not sure what you’ll do with the extra length between now and the bar change.

Best,
DeVern

I'll probably go with a standard RS set up for now then get just the different upper hose later. That gives me an option on the bar choice later.

I had braided stainless hoses made by a local hydraulic hose shop. They make them with the right ends and have a machine that will test them to DOT specs for brake hoses.

Much less expensive than the name brand hoses and look the same.

On my R90S I used stock hoses because I wanted it look original.

I just rebuilt the MC on a 82 R80 with a kit I bought from EME. I bought the ss brake hose from them too while I was at it. Luckily my bike has only one hose.
