I need to buy a headlight lense for my '75 R60. I'm confused as to exactly which lenses will fit. Besides lenses off the exact same bike, does anybody know what other lenses will do the trick?

I am pretty sure that any head light lens from 1974 to at least 1984 EXCEPT R80G/S, R100GS and R65.
Do some research comparing part numbers in an online fiche.

Here's another way to cross reference parts and bikes. I find RealOEM does this best...maybe the only one that does it.
Find the part number for your specific year/model. Copy the number. Click on the "Select Another Vehicle" link at the top of the page. Paste the part number into the box that "Part NR Application Search". The search will show you what other bikes the part number appears on.
kstoo is correct...there are quite a few bikes that also have this part number. Even some late model Airheads as well as a few Oilheads.

Just paying it forward...I got that from someone else, possibly on this forum...maybe the Airheads list...not sure. I have the ETK program loaded at home and have never been able to figure out how to do this. But the RealOEM site works pretty well.

I picked up a new lens about 3 years ago from Chicago BMW. $35. Don't know what they charge today. Be sure you order the rubber lens gasket too, if your source doesn't add it automatically.
