I have an 05 ST. I replaced the stock windshield with a Parabellum that keeps the wind and rain off of my face. I stand 6'-4". I tried a Cee Bailey, but it was not tall enough.
I had mine two years this past April. I bought it used with 4400 miles on it. I have put 68,000 miles on it since I got it. I find that it handles nicely in the twisties; and will pull down the big miiles easily. I came from an RT. The thing that I miss the most is the lack of protection from the wind for my hands.
I may put on the Verholen bar risers to see if they make any difference.
The stock seat wasn't much, but neither was the stock seat on the RT.
You mght take one for a spin and see what you think.
