    Shipping Bike- Sticker Shock

    I've used Federal Transport a number of times for east coast to west coast shipping. Hisorically, they've run from the mid-upper $700's (includes $15k insurance). Got my quote recently and the price for shipping and same insurance is $925. I realize in the grand scheme of things it's only...

    transport advice

    I am looking at purchasing another /2, but it is on the other side of the country. There seem to be a lot of bike haulers out there. Does anyone have a recommendation, someone you used and is trustworthy. It has to be enclosed transport, and able to fit with sidecar. Thanks.

    I am thinking about buying a bike well out of state. Has anyone suggestions as to how to have a bike shipped, and any experience with shippers? Stuff to watch out for in shipping/buying out of state?:scratch
