Pontiac Campout 8/12 to 8/14 2011

Some of us will be camping at the 4H fairgrounds in Pontiac 8/12 t0 8/14 They (the 4h Fairgrounds) charge $25 to tent camp and more for an RV.

Being "not yet retired" is really cramping my rallying plans! I guess still being employed is a good "problem" to have, these days!

I may try to work Pontiac into my trip to Eagle River, WI for the Central ADV Rally. If I even get there, that is... Not exactly "on the way," but sometimes that's the whole point! It looks like a straight shot north to Eagle River from Pontiac.

Al, I think I met you at a rest area on the way to Johnson City in 2009. I was headed to the ROK rally beforehand, then I saw you again at Johson City. I was on a yellow GS.

Howie we also met at the Dells last year.

Planning on it. It is a great place to camp. Maybe we could do a little ride aroung the area. There is great route 66 museum we can check out also.

Heck yeah.
Done the Dinky for several years now.
Sad to hear it's not happening this year.
But if it's a similar date and same place I'd be there.
