1997 R1100rt Denali D2 lights

I am finally getting around to installing the Denali D2 lights I bought a couple of years ago. Would like some suggestions on locating the various bits. I'm using the Denali Power Hub 2 and the rest of the kit. Where did you locate the lights? At the top of the fender or the bottom?

Thank you in advance.

My '98 R1100 RT had a pair of PIAAs mounted under the oil cooler. They did occasionally hit and mark the fender. I moved the roundals on the side panels and mounted the lights in the hollows where the rondals had been. That location gives a good separation for the lights and there were no further marks made on the fender. :clap

:thumb Good to know that I am not the only one who believes in buying something and then allowing it to age to perfection before using or installing something. :laugh

I’m sure this doesn’t help you at all but here they are mounted on my 640:ha
