1997 R1100rt Denali D2 lights

I am finally getting around to installing the Denali D2 lights I bought a couple of years ago. Would like some suggestions on locating the various bits. I'm using the Denali Power Hub 2 and the rest of the kit. Where did you locate the lights? At the top of the fender or the bottom?

My '98 R1100 RT had a pair of PIAAs mounted under the oil cooler. They did occasionally hit and mark the fender. I moved the roundals on the side panels and mounted the lights in the hollows where the rondals had been. That location gives a good separation for the lights and there were no further marks made on the fender. :clap

Good to know that I am not the only one who believes in buying something and then allowing it to age to perfection before using or installing something.

Mounting holes

Check out this thread. It's possible that your bike has the same mounting holes below the oil cooler like mine does. I didn't notice them until someone told me to look for them. I'll have to check out those brackets, probably better than my home fabricated brackets if they fit.
