R1200ST Front Brake Master Cylinder

The front brake master cylinder on my 2007 R1200ST needs replacing. Magura used to sell a rebuild kit but for this part, but, due to BMW's exclusive marketing agreements, can no longer sell the kit. BMW requires replacing the entire unit for an outrageous $470. I'm looking at the Magura HC1 radial master cylinder as a replacement at $300 and rebuildable. Has anyone had any experience replacing their factory master cylinders with the HC1? If so, are there any special items I need to be concerned about?
