Starting your Ride to the BMW MOA Rally in Boise Idaho

If you would like to ride to the upcoming BMW MOA Rally in Great Falls, MT, but are not looking forward to a long freeway ride, consider starting your trip in Boise Idaho. BMW rentals are available from Into the Horizon Av Motorcycle tours and rentals and their are multiple great routes from Boise to Great Falls on some of the most amazing road in the mountain west.

A route over famous Highway 12 and Lolo Pass

That is a great ride suggestion. You can also go north from Boise on Highway 55 to Highway 95 to Grangeville and then onto Highway 12 and over Lolo Pass.

That was one of the routes suggested in the attached PDF. Two of us are leaving for the Rally on Monday June 15, taking the Stanley - Salmon route. If you are riding up alone, consider joining us. Rob Adams Sweet, ID 208-781-0548

One of the best rides I've ever experienced was on 21 through Stanley and then 75 and 95 up the Salmon River Canyon. That was a glorious day.

My bad for missing the PDF link. Those are all great routes and anyone passing through Boise to and from the rally would do themselves a big favor by taking one route up and a different one back.
