04 1150R low fuel indicator not very low

My low fuel indicator doesn't seem at all accurate. I'm annoyed the bike doesn't have an actual gauge but could be happier if the light was useful. I have about a gallon and a half when the light comes on. Any ideas on how I might adjust it, or is there an aftermarket gauge out there?

Thanks!

I don't have an answer, but I notice that all five of the threads in the Similar Threads pane at the bottom of the screen are about Oilheads and low fuel indicator. Might be worth a read. You might be in good company! :wave

You are wise and I'm a newbie! They aren't quite there, but they also gave me some ideas. Thanks!

Low Fuel Light

That is about where they are supposed to come on I think, it indicates you have 50 or 60 miles left before you run out. My 1994 R1100RS comes on when I have 2 gallons left.
