I've been playing around with my new Photobucket account, so I figured I'd post a video of our thumpers. It was taken during an extended trip to get gas in San Manuel, AZ. Not very exciting, but the bikes look good!
When I was a member of the school boy patrol back in the fifties, my fellow "officer" Ronnie Case and I were especially fond of the mellow, deep-throated rumble of the Hudsons -- and Mercs. That was back when you could identify an automobile by its exhaust note alone.
It's not mine. I was out for a ride on my F650 and was looking for some photo opportunities and just happened upon it sitting outside an auto repair shop. I may post some more photos. No one was around. I would like to hear what she sounds like also! After I got home I had to get on the internet and research what year it might be. I really like some of the other views of this car.
On July 24th, I will be riding out to see my son in Breckenridge. I'll be riding from Milwaukee's South Side. This will be my first long ride. 1120 Miles one way.
I just got it two weeks ago, and I still can't believe it. I always wanted this bike, and the color matches one of my bimmer cars.
Can't wait to start customizing my ride and go for an adventure trip, like the trip to South America.
Here she is beautifying a sunset along the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC. I wish I'd have used some fill flash.

And, on the Tail of the Dragon the next day.

About three hours before this picture was taken, about 0830 on a cool misty Saturday morning, I rode through the area all alone and had about the most fun I've ever had on my F650.
Then, I passed through again at about 1130 and was behind these folks and another cruiser that took the corners in first gear and the straights in second.
