Installing Hyper-Lites

I just received a set of Hyper-Lite brake lights and want to install them on my 2015 F700GS. I don't want to affect the cam-bus. It looks pretty easy except for 2 things - routing a wire from the controller under the seat to the battery, and how to hook up power at the battery or through a terminal block. Do I need to remove any body plastic other than the battery cover to run a wire? I know a lot of you have done this and I'm hoping someone can post some pointers and maybe some pictures. Thanks!

Also, check some of the threads in the Similar Threads pane at the bottom of the screen. They aren't specific to the twins, but might be good in a general sense.
