Just took delivery on 2018 1200 GSA:
Thus far I’ve only got the pair of left/right side cases (elected to not get the matching top case due to limited usable space for the amount of $$’s spent, and still can always do that later), so am looking for a back rest to make the wife feel more secure, but it would be nice to be able to lay a duffle bag behind the back rest.
A “sissy bar w/ shelf behind” if you get the idea, or perhaps there’d already be enough room on the flat rack that’s already there if I got the perfect backrest.
I’m toying with something for lumbar support for myself as well, as I’m not so sure about the long term desirability of the OEM seat.
Are the flat racks behind the seat the same on all models?
In other words, would what I’m looking for fit a GS, RT, etc?
