Accessing Media Apps on Nav VI

Here it is, I waited for the Navigator VI and finally pulled the trigger. Got it home, loaded it with a route or two and 30 Gbytes of music. Although the music played fine, when I hooked it up to my GTL (the backbone), it told me to, “use my motorcycle radio to listen to music”, instead of playing back from the Nav VI. I called Garmin and they said that Motorrad made them install the feature to force owners to use the motorcycle radio.
Called BMW Motorrad, they said they will look into it for me and get back to me.

Any Ideas?

BMW Mottorad agrees, this is a problem
