I just installed Akrapovic cans on my 2016 K1600GTLE they were definitely worth the extra money.
They are very well made and fit perfectly, less than 1 hour to install.
They look great and sound awesome, ordered titanium w/ carbon fiber, very much a Formula-1 sound at speed.
The idle is very nice, louder than stock, deep and powerful. Did not remove the baffle but don't know how anyway.
Rode about 150 miles this weekend and loved the new sound, not too loud to drive you crazy
but you know when you hit the throttle.
Ordered from Revzilla, $2100, packaged very nicely, had them in 2 days.
