Hello all, just picked up a '16 GTLE. Not my first BMW (which was a '71 R75/5), but nothing short of stunning!

Welcome to the forum! Any other BMWs between the /5 and the GLTE? Enjoy the new bike. :thumb

A litany of motorcycles over the years! A string of Harleys (vintage and modern), and two Triumphs in the mix ('95 Thunderbird and a '14 Trophy SE). Right now, I also have a '57 panhead motor with 4spd tranny waiting for a chassis along with a '67 Matchless G15 (complete) waiting for some table time.

Welcome to the funny farm!

Pictures of new rides are required, congratulations! :dance

I get off work on Monday, will post one then. It is truly the most advanced machine I've ever ridden! I find myself re-reading the manuals to wrap my head around all the technology applied to the bike.

Looking forward to seeing it Wesley!

I stick to old bikes (ya know, like a 2004 S...lol) since learning new tech is beyond my capabilities. :scratch

Cheers! :dance

PS. You might want to checkout Washington State BMW Riders, many of them live around Puget Sound, nice bunch of folks...

Welcome Mr Leuders! Hope the new ride will get you to our next MOA Rally in Salt Lake in style!
