Book Review: On The Move - A Life by Oliver Sacks

I was romping around the country on my RT during much of September and October. When I was in Sonoma, California by sister who is always trying to improve the quality of my reading material gave me a copy of On The Move - A Life by Oliver Sacks. Here is a photo of the cover with the author astride his BMW R60:

This is not a motorcycle book as such, but an autobiography of a man who has led what can only be called a life filled with intensity, and desire to learn as much about this world as he can. He eventually became a physician, but his interests in many things are vast. The paragraphs about his lengthy motorcycle rides are fun to read and inspiring.

I just thought I'd pass this along in case others might enjoy a very good read.

I agree, this is indeed an excellent read. Sacks is (well, was...he died last year) a perceptive and honest observer of himself.
