Lots of info here http://www.ibmwr.org/ktech.shtml scroll down to "other" for alternate parts. I don't think the page has been updated for a decade or so but lots of good stuff still there.
Remember, use alternate parts "at your own risk".
Just because someone found a part "that fits" and owns a computer doesn't mean that that part meets all intended specs. Just because you read it on the internet doesn't make it true.
Some parts are well known and used alternatives, others, not so much.
