New member in Edmonton, Alberta

Just a note to introduce myself. I've been riding an '04 R1200CL since 2007, its my first motorcycle. Over the past seven years I haven't been able to put on very many miles (10,000 miles on the odometer), but that is something I hope to change over the next few years. I would like to try motorcycle camping this summer, I've not done any camping but the idea of being self-sufficient on a bike appeals to me.

This July I would like to do a couple of days touring in the northwestern part of Washington state.
