GSers heading to Redmond for the GS Pre-Rallys?

I am heading to Redmond, OR from Central Texas to the Pre-Rally Adventure ride that begins on July 13th and am looking for anyone that may wish to join me.

My route includes
Lubbock, TX
Placitas, NM
Moab, UT
Salt Lake City, UT
Boise, ID
And finally Redmond, OR

I plan to take about 7 days to get there from Texas so that I can spend a few days riding around Moab and perhaps some sightseeing in Salt Lake City. I plan to camp the entire way at various state parks or wilderness camp in National forest along the way.

I plan to leave Central Texas around July 5th or 6th. If my route (above) passes through any where near you and you would care to join me, please post up or PM me and letÔÇÖs see if we can find a good place to hook up for the ride up to the GS Adventure ride in Redmond.

I can send you my proposed route and itinerary. Then we can discuss modification to suit your location.

BTW: After the rally, I plan to head east to Yellowstone and then come down via that Continental Divide if anyone wishing to join me for that as well, leme know.

sounds like we are doing the same kind of riding, but not in synch.

i plan to ironbutt it to south dakota by way of nebraska, ride over the bighorns, through yellowstone and then the byways of central idaho.

after the rally, it's down to the MotoGP, then home by way of Utah, CO and Santa Fe, NM

have a good ride. :thumb
