In the left coast area of the country, we are blessed with a motorcycle publication titled Friction Zone. It is published monthly and you can find it at most motorcycle shops, free. It is paid for by the advertisers.

Each month there are ride descriptions including a tank bag tear sheet. Lots of information on the route, places to stop, eat,, visit, etc. In the January 2008 issue is Discover Wyoming, with a loop from Devils Tower to Belle Fourche SD, to Alzada Mt, and back to Devils Tower. About 130 miles in length.

If you are interested in this ride, or other west coast rides, check out their web site at www.friction-zone.com, on the left side of the home page, click on Discover and you will find the ride refered to above.

This publication is full of interesting information each month, with articles from State Police bike officers, Attorney's, etc, all concerning motorcycling. For those of you digging out of the snow, it makes a good read this time of year, and you can dream of rides to come. (opps, I-5 is closed due to snow this day in So. Calif (Gorman).

Good resource. Thanks.

For those approaching from the east, the web site also has a Wall/Badlands loop and Rapid City/Rushmore loop.

Thanks for the info, Bob.

It's a good publication.....too bad it doesn't extend to dealers in the Midwest!
