I've been trying to figure out booking a motorcycle tour in England and Scotland for my wife and me. Seeing as they all seem so expensive, I'm thinking not until next year.

Anyone's experience with touring companies would be appreciated.

100 miles

Take a look at www.ukgsers.com those guys will be happy to tell you the ins and outs.
www.trailschool.co.uk will give you a different view of off road UK
www.hctravel.com cover the UK and rest of the world
www.cornishwheels.com for the far south west. Beautiful countryside and real coastal history
www.ttsportsbikes.com llandrindod Wells-Wales

www.biketours-uk.com escorted or independent
www.islandflingmotorcycletours.com- Scotland (best UK riding roads if it's not raining)

Try any local tourist board and they should be able to help too, or the BMF British Motorcycle Federation for all things bike.

There's plenty to enjoy and lots to see, remember in the USA 100yrs is a long time, in the UK 100 miles is a long way. In 100 miles you'll pass through 10 towns 20 villages and hundreds if not thousands of years of history.
