Gas in charcoal canister

I noticed gas leaking from the char coal canister vent tube line. Didn't have the bike down but maybe over-filled the gas tank although I've never had the problem before and always fill the gas to the same level. I may have hooked the vent lines to the charcoal canister wrong. Teh three inlets to the charcoal canister are labeled; "A", "E", and "FT". Anyone know what vent lines go to what inlets?

One word: Cannisterectomy

. Get rid of the stupid thing, it's only needed for California. With it gone the bike looks better too. :wave

I need it. Fix it for me and my kids.

Besides, there will be (some) gasoline in the canister, which is a condensate from the fumes collected in the charcoal of the canister. There should not be charcoal in your tank, though.

I will look for a diagram in my fische and post it here if I find one.

Its possible that the internal lines are leaking and need to be replaced. Its easy to do, and also a good time to change the fuel filter.
