Tank Bag Repair

The strong elastic on my Tank Bag that holds the bag in place is almost toast. It is overstretched and needs to be replaced. There used to be someone that offered a service on the web of repairing the stretch elastic on tank bags as well as replacing the clear plastic Map holder pocket. That person no longer offers the service.. Any ideas. Does anyone have a secret supplier.

I know a guy that had good luck getting a cobbler to help him. The cobbler sent him to a local fabric store to buy some elastic and then stitched it all together for him.

Try an upholstering shop.
I brought mine to an automotive upholstering shop.
They didnÔÇÖt have any elastic heavy or wide enough, but instead, used a real heavy spandex type material folded over a couple of times. ItÔÇÖs been holding up fine for over a year now. :thumb
He charged me 30 bucks.

Good luck
